poor fuel consumption

I'm new to subaru but I think their something wrong off a full tank I'm only getting 200miles with mixed driving. Also it has a slight hesitation in the Rev range. According to previous ownet it had a stage 1 remap by amd.


Is their anyway of checking the map with out spending a small fortune and could their be any easy checks to get better mpg

model (legacy i guess!), engine, age, mileage, mods?
also do you know when and with what software amd mapped it?

My car is a 2001 impreza wrx wagon done 121k miles

K&n apollo induction kit
Dump valve
Pro drive exhaust
remap and unsure on any info just previous owners word about mapping

oh and has anybody told you yet that a subaru will "pass ow't but a garage!"

 

I don't mind the refueling just concerned with the hiccup in the Rev range. Also seen people putting their getting near the 300 miles to a tank

 

According to online calculator I get 20.9 mpg

 

That's what I get out of mine !

 

I find that 's normal mate, nothing to worry about.

 

My misses get 300 but she has size 3 feet.... I get around 200 and my best... or worst is 80 miles...... one Lads treasure hunt being at fault....

 

lol, and i thought is was just me!
i once did a night rally in an old 92 legacy turbo, did a tank in 80 miles, problem was that was only half way round

 

Didn't buy the scoob to worry about fuel consumption lol. just fill her up , enjoy driving with a huge smile on my face then refill when needed. worth every penny spent on V Power to drive these wonderful cars
